run_x_automation

posts:write

Show what the workspace's X automation rules would do to its own published X posts right now, without waiting for the nightly sweep. Pass kinds to run one of ['auto_repost', 'auto_delete'], or leave it out for both. This is always a dry run: it reposts and deletes nothing, whatever the rules say.

Returns counts (evaluated, matched, acted, skipped, failed), a row per decision with the reason in plain words, and warnings for a kind that has no rule or is switched off. Use it to show the user what their thresholds would actually pick before they trust them — especially for auto_delete, which cannot be undone once it is live. Carrying the decisions out for real is the nightly sweep's job, for rules the user has taken out of dry run in the app themselves.

Use get_x_automation_rules to see the thresholds and list_x_automation_runs to read earlier runs.

Same action over the REST API

The tool runs POST /v1/orgs/{orgId}/automation/x/run as the signed-in user, with the same validation, approval rules and limits. See it in the X automation API reference.
