Core concepts

AdVentur.ai is built around one idea: AI does the work, you make the calls. These are the pieces your assistant works with.

A workspace (an organisation in the API) holds one brand: its brand profile and kit, strategy, connected social accounts, posts, media and settings. When you connect an assistant you pick one workspace, and every tool call acts on that workspace only. Team members share a workspace and its plan.

The brand profile is what AdVentur.ai knows about your business: what you sell, who it’s for and how you sound. Onboarding builds it from your website. The brand kit is the visual side: colours, fonts, logo and tagline. Every branded image, carousel and screenshot uses it. Assistants read it with get_brand_kit and, with the Update your brand kit permission, change it with update_brand_kit.

Your positioning, audience, content pillars, priorities and recommendations. Drafts are written to fit it, and get_strategy lets an assistant plan with it.

The social profiles and pages a workspace publishes to: X, LinkedIn (profiles and company pages), Instagram, Facebook Pages, Bluesky, TikTok and more. You connect them in the app; assistants can list them with list_social_accounts but never connect or disconnect them.

A post group is one piece of content, such as “Launch announcement”. It holds a post per platform variant: the X copy, the LinkedIn copy and so on, each tied to a connected account. You approve, schedule or reject a whole group; you edit copy and media on its posts. An X thread is a single post whose follow-ups publish as replies.

Everything an assistant drafts lands in the Review queue (the Queue page) as pending_approval. A post moves through:

Status Meaning
draft Being written in the app’s composer, not yet submitted.
pending_approval Drafted and waiting for a person to approve it.
approved Approved, not yet given a time.
scheduled Approved with a publish time.
publishing / awaiting_platform Being sent, or sent and finishing on the platform (video processing, for example).
published Live on the platform.
failed The platform refused it; the reason is shown in the app.
canceled Rejected or taken off the schedule.

Assistants can only move a post past pending_approval when you granted the Approve and schedule posts permission, and they are instructed to confirm the copy and time with you first. Approving a post changes nothing on its own platform until its scheduled time, unless you ask for it to go out now and granted Publish posts now.

Each workspace has posting windows and a timezone. suggest_slots ranks the best times over the next week from your audience and past results, and approving with the best slot picks one for you.

Plans include monthly usage credits, shared by every workspace on the plan. AI work spends them: drafting, rewrites, research, reading X and sending video to some platforms. Publishing never does. Tools that spend credits are marked uses credits in the tool reference, and get_usage shows what’s left. See Usage and limits.

When you connect an assistant you choose what it may do, from reading your workspace to deleting posts. Each tool needs exactly one scope. See Authentication and permissions.
