draft_post_from_thought

posts:writeuses credits

Turn a saved thought (see save_thought and list_thoughts) into ready-to-review posts for X and LinkedIn, written in the brand voice using the viral format that fits it best (hot take, lesson, story, list, how-to, before/after). visual 'image' adds an on-brand graphic and 'carousel' a swipeable carousel (a PDF on LinkedIn, the first 4 slides as images on X); aiBackground adds an AI-generated background, which is slower and costs money, so use it only when the user wants imagery. guidance steers the angle, e.g. 'contrarian hot take'.

Each call spends AI credits, so don't retry it in a loop. The posts land in the Review queue as pending approval and are never scheduled: show the user the copy and visual, edit with update_post, and publish only with approve_post_group once they confirm.

The tool runs POST /v1/orgs/{orgId}/thoughts/{thoughtId}/drafts as the signed-in user, with the same validation, approval rules and limits. See it in the Thoughts API reference.
